GRAND RAPIDS, MI — The Breakaway music festival is returning to Belknap Park this August with a whole new lineup of EDM and pop music artists.
The touring music festival will take place in Grand Rapids on Aug. 18 and 19, at 30 Coldbrook St. NE.
Tickets for Breakaway are now on sale, starting at $104 for a two-day pass. One-day passes will be available at a later date.
While some headliner acts like Porter Robinson and RL Grime have been announced, festival organizers say the two main headliners will be announced in mid-summer.
Other acts announced for the Breakaway festival include: Tchami, Knock2, Jessie Murph, Evian Giia, Christian French and Telykast. Local artists include Choff and RIINK.
Along with the music performances, the festival also includes a silent disco party presented by White Claw, food and alcohol vendors, a roller rink and a local musician contest.
General admission tickets include access to all stages, the silent disco, partner activities and local food trucks. The VIP tickets include all the general admission privileges, along with express entry, a private bar, a VIP lounge and exclusive VIP restrooms and merchandise tent. Ultra-VIP tickets allow access to the side-stage viewing platform and an after-party ticket. VIP tickets start at $174 and ultra-VIP tickets are $909.

The festival will run 4-11 p.m. Aug. 18 and 3-11 p.m. Aug. 19.
Breakaway is also hosting festivals in North Carolina, Kansas City, Columbus, Ohio, Boston and San Francisco this summer.
