Blackpink takes to Coachella’s mainstage once again

Blackpink once again rocked Coachella on Sunday for its second performance headlining the U.S. music festival.

“It’s way hotter this week than last week,” said Rosé to an excited crowd that replied with thunderous applause and cheer to the band’s four members donned in light pink.

“It is our second day headlining for Coachella and it feels absolutely surreal to be here. Thank you so much for having us.”

Blackpink was invited to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival to perform on April 15 and 22, U.S. time, as the headlining artist among a lineup including Rosalia, boygenius, $uicideboy$ and Kid Laroi.

The group once again started off the festivities with a drone show and its hit 2022 dance track “Pink Venom,” followed by the best of its discography and individual bandmates’ solo songs.

Following the Coachella performance, Blackpink will continue its ongoing “Born Pink” world tour, where the quratet is set to meet with over 1.5 million fans in total. The band will also headline the Hyde Park British Summer Time Festival in July as the first K-pop artist to do so.
