Nashua choir and band students traveled to Billings May 5 and 6 to compete at State Music Festival May 5 and 6. In addition to competing, they were able to enjoy amazing food! Pictured left to right are Kaitlyn Miller, Leah Morgan, Gracyn Sibley, Allison Greenough, Caden Laumeyer and John Grimes.
Congratulations to all of the students from Hinsdale High School, Nashua School and Glasgow High School who participated in the State Music Festival in Billings May 5 and 6.

Choir Ensemble consisting Allison Bailey, Abby Bell, Emily Bell, Emily Cronmiller, Olivia Helland, Tamika Merideth, Gabe Proctor , Rachel Stanley, and Madison Wood received an “Excellent” rating (II) for singing, “The Sound of Silence”

Under the direction of Heidi Johnson, pictured far right, the Hinsdale Band practice prior to participating in their event at the State Music Festival in Billings May 5 and 6. The Hinsdale Jazz Band took home an I rating, which is Superior.
Proctor received a “Superior” (I) rating for singing, “Music of the Night”
“I couldn’t be more proud of these students. This was my first year teaching and they have been excellent students. I still feel like they deserved a “Superior” and in my eyes, that is exactly what they got. Go Scotties!,” stated Choir Director Stephanie Hughes.
