Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro break up after 3 years,

It’s over between Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro. The couple has ended their engagement after more than three years together, according to a new report.

Sources tell People that Rosalía and Alejandro, both 30, agreed to call off their engagement despite the love and respect they share for one another.

The two music stars went public with their relationship on social media in September 2021, and Rosalía even got an “RR” tattoo on her foot to commemorate their connection, according to Teen Vogue.

But Rosalía and Alejandro actually met years earlier, at the 2019 Latin Grammys, as Billboard reported in a cover story this March. In that interview, Alejandro said it was “100%” love at first sight, and he called Rosalía the love of his life.

Rosalía had high praise for Alejandro, too.

“What Raúl does — sing and dance in a show from beginning to end — no other Latin artist does that,” she told Billboard.

Addressing Alejandro directly, she added, “For me, our relationship is first, and then there’s everything else. Of course my career is super important in my life, but at the same time, in my life, you’re my companion, and everything else comes second.”

That same month, the couple released their collaborative EP “RR,” featuring the track “Beso,” the music video which revealed their engagement with a shot of a tearful Rosalía flashing a diamond ring.

Rosalía is a Spanish singer-songwriter known for blending flamenco and pop. She has won 12 Latin Grammy Awards to date, and in 2022, she became the first woman to win the Latin Grammy for Album of the Year twice.

Alejandro is a Puerto Rican singer-songwriter heralded as the “King of Modern Reggaeton.” His 2021 album “Vice Versa” has gone Platinum eight times over, according to the Recording Industry Association of America’s Latin music certifications.
