Rolla, a Manchester band made up of five childhood friends is set to perform.
Their “unique sound” has nods to bands from their scene including The Verve and The Stone Roses.
The second group to be announced is The Utopiates, a London indie rock band that launched during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Also on the roster is Fitzroy Holt, with his music described as being filled with “quiet, downtrodden beauty”, poised to take music lovers on a journey based on the singers own experiences.
Also headlining is The Facades, Lock-In and Columbia as organisers begin to gear up for what they say will be a “phenomenal” occasion.
This Feeling’s Mikey Jonns said: “We’re buzzing to be back at The Gathering Sounds. It’s a phenomenal day of new music in Stockton that we are proud to be part of.
“We’ve had acts such as Dylan John Thomas, The Native, Himalayas, Overpass, Dead Pony and Spangled grace the stage before going onto bigger things. This year’s much the same – the best new bands at the start of their story.
They added: “Come find us, appropriately, at the Storytellers venue…”
