Viaje, the new high-end Mexican, seafood, international/fusion, Latin American restaurant, has opened at 5224 E. Second St. in Belmont Shore across Corona Avenue from Chase Bank.
Menu items include entrees like $28 Salmon Al Pastor, $48 Robalo Con Almejas, and $55 Filet Mignon.
They currently are only open for dinner.
Water’s Edge Wineries has reopened downtown, relocating from Pine Avenue to the first floor of the historic Broadlind building, on the corner of East Broadway and Linden Avenue.
An extensive beverage list includes sparkling wines, sangrias and dessert wines, as well as several beers available on draft.
Three exclusive wine clubs are available, ranging from $25 to $149 per month and feature perks such as winery credits, discounts, complimentary tastings, and priority access.

This week, Rubio’s (with an outlet on Second Street in Belmont Shore) will introduce a new take on The Original Fish Taco®. The taco has grilled, wild-caught Mahi Mahi and is topped with guacamole, salsa fresca, cotija cheese, crisp cabbage,and a creamy Baja sauce.
