A Brief History

Particle was formed in 2003 by guitarist Paul Randolph, drummer Darren Stevenson, and keyboardist Ryan Zoidis. The trio's initial goal was to create a project that combined their shared love of rock, jazz, and electronic music into a unique sonic experience. With the addition of bassist Eric Gould and saxophonist Steve Wolf, Particle's sound began to take shape. The band's self-titled debut album was released in 2004, and they quickly gained a loyal following on the festival circuit.
