We’re thrilled to hear that South Carolina’s own Backline, fronted by the incredible vocals and songwriting prowess of Katelyn Ingardia, has officially rejoined the Mountain Fever Records label! This is fantastic news for fans eagerly awaiting new material, as a brand new album is already in the works. Backline brings a fresh perspective to the genre, and we can’t wait to see what musical gems they’ll unveil in their new partnership.

Dollywood and the Digital Airwaves

For those who love to immerse themselves in the sounds of Americana, there’s a fantastic new development: Dollywood Radio has officially launched on iHeartRadio! As part of Dollywood’s grand 40th-anniversary celebration, fans can now easily tune in via the iHeartRadio app to enjoy the signature sounds of the park, which, of course, includes plenty of the finest bluegrass music.   • Moorestown Bluegrass Festival (NJ!): Mark your calendars, New Jersey! A brand new festival is set to launch right here in Moorestown in September 2025. This exciting addition will celebrate our state’s rich string music heritage and showcase incredible local talent. It’s a testament to the thriving bluegrass scene right in our backyard.
  • Green Mountain Bluegrass & Roots Festival: This Vermont gem has unveiled its stellar 2025 lineup, featuring an incredible roster including Watchhouse, the phenomenal Molly Tuttle, the soulful The Steeldrivers, and bluegrass legend Peter Rowan, among others.
  • Telluride Bluegrass Festival: Always a highlight on the festival calendar, Telluride is set to host powerhouses like Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit and the iconic Alison Krauss and Union Station, featuring the masterful Jerry Douglas.
  • “Bluegrass Nights at the Ryman”: The historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville continues its cherished tradition with the 31st annual series. This year promises unforgettable performances by legends such as Dan Tyminski, Rhonda Vincent, and Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder.
