Circles Around the Sun & Mikaela Davis - After Sunrise LP (chartreuse) brings together the disco cosmonauts and acclaimed harpist once again, delving deeper into the collaborative synergy first unveiled on the title track of CATS' 2023 album, Language. Featuring two fresh original compositions, 'Gloaming Way' and 'Moonbow,' alongside an inspired rendition of Brazilian icon Sergio Mendes' 'After Sunrise,' the album marks a significant milestone as it introduces vocals to a CATS recording, beautifully sung by Davis. Closing out the second side is a mesmerizing live rendition of 'Language,' bringing the collaboration full circle and highlighting the undeniable chemistry between the artists.
